One word: DISGUSTING! I spend one night in the hostel for 49€ + 6€ taxes on the 26.03.2024 together with my mum. The room number was 509. Why disgusting? The toilet sit was yellowed as if they never really clean it. Inside the toilet was dirty as if they didn’t properly flushed it. The bed cover had holes in it. The bed cover had stains. The walls were dirty and floor sticky. It was so gross we left around 5 hours, around after checking in. We only stayed because we were so tired from traveling all day and needed to sleep a little. It was so gross showered twice when we got home, needed to wash everything that touched the bed. Even if is a relatively low price, this level of discomfort and dirtiness shouldn’t be left uncommented. Never again and do yourself a favour and never book there.

I made a reservation through agoda.com in the morning and my reservation was confirmed and the payment was received. When I went to the hotel in the evening, the employee named Reza at the reception said that there was no room and the room was allocated to others. They said we can give you a refund if you want. We were kept waiting for two hours. We were directed to a worse hotel. A taxi was not allocated. The travel fee was not paid, they did not help me carry the luggage. I had paid all the fees in my reservation. I had to pay the tax again at the hotel we were directed to. I had to pay the city tax twice in the city where I stayed for 1 night. The A&O staff was rude and harsh... I have every complaint.

Seriously don’t bother, absolutely horrendous….. I am sure you will see the stock response “sorry it didn’t meet expectations etc” … but 100e a night for a twin room. Please look elsewhere, check in was fine, room just grim, fan with no vent in bathroom sounds like a plane engine running continuously (block with a towel) … bar, never any draft beer, buy from vender, one person checking everyone in and also running the bar! … music till 3am and nobody even in there… truly one of the most shambolic places I have ever stayed. Venders work occasionally, staff not really caring and 3euro for water…. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs….. not bitter, just terrible beyond words

All in all a quite agreeable hostel. The rooms are spartan but functional, space is perfectly adequate and the place is largely clean, even after a group of raucous school children have been through it. The b'fast is also reasonable. Only the lunch pack and evening meal were too basic to be acceptable. The hostel is an easy walk from most Duesseldorf locations of interest and rooms to the rear are very quiet. Good recommendation for budget travel, especially for students and young families.

Just a terrible experience. Personel who scream at their clients. Very unfriendly, especially the security guard. I am going to admit that we were send away. When we asked for an explanation he couldn't give us a reason. The only thing he said was: "We don't give a f*ck about our customers." About the accomodation: the money is not worth it. Breakfast was dry and boring; The beds were uncomfortable; Shower was switching from insanely hot to extremely cold; Bunkbeds were very unstable; Pillows were still yellow??????; In a shared toilet the lights were defect and were contiously switching on and of. But in summary as mentioned above: just a terrible experience.
